All properties are furnished to a high standard with a dual air-conditioning/heating system, with extra heating in winter provided by a pellet-burning stove. Each property has a computerised security system and is similarly furnished with living/dining room with satellite TV, sofa bed, telephone, and a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer, hob/oven, dishwasher and microwave. All properties have terraces or patios equipped with garden furniture and positioned to provide as much privacy as possible. Some of the apartments have a balcony off the bedroom(s). Cots and highchairs can be provided free of charge (please reserve in advance). Beach towels can be hired (a small deposit will be required). Maid service is included every day except Public Holidays.

CHANGE-OVER DAYS: Rentals are from Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays.

The Clubhouse is the centre-piece of the resort.

Amenities include:

• Large outdoor communal swimming pool, which is heated as necessary from March to October and is suitable for all ages with its linked areas of various depth, and a special section for children.
• Indoor pool, and Children's Pool which is heated all year round.
• Health & Fitness Centre with Jacuzzi, sauna and gym, two squash courts, a snooker room, a boutique and a beauty salon. A Mini-Market is also on site.
• Children's club operates in the school holidays for 3-12 year olds, with various activities such as painting and drawing, face painting, hide & seek, etc, laid on free of charge. Additional planned trips and swimming lessons etc may also be organised for which an extra charge is made. There is also a crèche open all year for babies from 18 months to 7 year olds or possibly older/younger depending on availability (small charge).
• Children's play area with swings, slide and rope climbing.
• Bar, lounge, pool terrace cafe and restaurant, offering both international cuisine and Portuguese specialities. A take away service is also available.
• Three all-weather tennis courts and one synthetic grass court (two can be floodlit).
• 5-a-side football pitch, 2 lane synthetic grass lawn bowls facility, putting and chipping greens.
• Golf Discounts (up to 50%) on the Quinta do Lago North and South Golf courses nearby. The driving range adjoins the Club, handy for practice before playing, or for some professional coaching.
